Wine investors are discerning. So are the reports issued by CULT Wines to investors. Reports need to detail figures, vintages and locations. In this instance, the client supplies on-IDLE with raw data and image ideas. Our team puts the data together to provide a visually attractive and information-rich report seasonally.

Produced a decade ago, this was the first fizzy drink that actually held nutritional value. For children whom often don't have the luxury of breakfast within the UK school system, this was a seminal awareness and physical lifeline – in real life. The on-IDLE team created educational landing pages to assist schools in marketing the nutritional benefits.

With the variety of 'milk' expanding on supermarket shelves, Migros approached the largest producer of traditional pure milk – all ancient cattle breeds have the A2 component in milk in spite of modern milk farming's attempt to breed it into extinction. People with lactose intolerances, in particular those of genetically Asian descent are able to tolerate A2 milk much better. The packaging design reflects the ancient tradition, nature and organic heritage valued by today's younger consumers.

Migros is a multi-faceted supermarket chain in federal and multi-lingual Switzerland. Thus, it stood to reason that regional achievements would be marked separately from the brand origin. To celebrate the Migros Aare (the German-speaking bits along the Aare river consumer catchment area – the cantons of Bern, Aargu & Solothurn) 20th anniversary of a little mountain they literally own near Bern, called "Gurte", we designed a custom celebratory brand. This included tone of voice, packaging, venue branding, microsites, TV-idents, diverse logo-types and signage across multiple media channels.

Launched in the UK in 2006 by the Coca Cola Company to compete in a rapidly expanding energy drink sector, Relentless Energy took a different approach. It was marketed through alternative extreme sports and music, including the commission of films 'No Half Measures' as documentaries, written and directed by Ross Cairns, 'Lives of the Artists' (2009) and the sequel 'Follow me Down' (2011) as well as 'Powers of Three' (2009) showcasing individuals following their passions without compromise.
on-IDLE's work on Relentless involved graphic design, the content managed website design and build with ongoing maintenance and multiple competition microsites (with extremely high volume server traffic management).

Alpine Wines established itself in 2011 with a mission to bring the unique varietals of the Alpine regions to the UK. As with all wine merchants, existing stock, pre-orders and delivery logistics are complex, for which Alpine has the in-house technical capability to manage through Magento. on-IDLE worked to expand the base brand identity into a distinctive and contemporary consumer-facing website look-and-feel, introducing story-telling around the hand-picked producers and visual consistency across elements such as stock counters, list view options, buttons and iconography.

F&B Affairs AG is a Swiss-based B2B gourmet food and delicatessen retailer, importing rare and luxury herbs, spices, rubs, oils, wines, sauces, teas and more. As Covid hit, the hospitality sector was largely unable to trade with some going under. Great-Taste had to pivot as quickly as possible to a direct-to-consumer (B2C) online store and delivery service.

Working closely with their branding agency, Prädikat, on-IDLE set-up an online Shopify store and expanded the CI for an individual customer experience. The Shopify platform takes care of the whole process of stock counters, discount codes, payment and Vat invoice generation. This allowed us to focus on fine-tuning some of the functionality such as custom menus and product categorisation as well as the interface layout design using the native Shopify coding language «LIQUID». Today the B2C Great-Taste.ch online store is thriving side-by-side to the more traditional B2B hospitality product offerings.

Diemtigal is a quality milk producing area in Switzerland. Discerning customers however prefer a boutique and more personalised look-and-feel to the packaging. The naming of 'mountain milk' convinces the most sceptical, with the largely blue colour scheme serving as a visual cue to the full fat and organic production values, setting this milk product apart from competitors on the shelf.

A chance meeting in a pub in Hampstead Heath led to the design and development of the first website for Astrum Wine Cellars. The producers are the 'star of the show' with one per month being showcased front-and-centre on the website homepage. The website also serves as a real-time stock counter and printable A4 catalogue for more traditional sommeliers whom to this day conduct business by word of mouth, telephone and in-person tastings.

Migros supermarkets are a day-to-day grocery store across Switzerland. The German-speaking regions of Solothun, Bern and Aargau on the banks of the river Aare form the 'Migros Aare' catchment area, needing to pivot to take away food and beverages as restaurants could not open. on-IDLE created a sustainable packaging range for food items from salads to sandwiches and cups for soups, coffees, teas and other healthy soft drinks. Each packaging type further contained information on the sustainable legacy and recycling options with most still in use in-store to this day.

Prior to the pandemic Darren Phizaklea supplied financial professionals, city estates and landed gentry with unique fine wines complementing the estate management and deer stalking aspects of this multi-faceted business. We created a playful, yet professional brand identity that does not overwhelm the individual wines and an easy reproducible wine listing template for one-off tasting dinners and events.

The Migros supermarket chain is traditionally managed regionally to take advantage of niche target audiences and product offerings outside of day-to-day groceries, in this case Fitness centres and gyms. on-IDLE extended the Fitness Club brand to a flexible design system, that is used across different locations, signage and merchandise.

The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and subsequent Tsunami had a catastrophic effect on supply chains to Japan. Passugger is Switzerland’s oldest commercially available bottled water from deep within the mountain springs in Graubünden. To assist the population, Passugger donated tons of pallets of fresh, bottled water to the suffering people along Japan’s destroyed coast line. on-IDLE created a dynamic blog in Japanese, German and English to tell the stories of individual heroism and an online form to receive cries of help for fresh water.

Hemp production is highly regulated, but encouraged in Switzerland, in particular for use in textile production and eco-friendly building materials. Way before its time, C-ICE was launched as a natural, eco-friendly and very low THC-containing health-drink during an era where Red Bull and Coca Cola were duking it out. on-IDLE created the logo and cardboard recyclable packaging to represent the ground breaking product with a tongue-in-cheek play on the leaf of the cannabis plant.
