IFFO | Tokyo 2025 Conference Branding
IFFO | Tokyo 2025 Conference Branding
Problem: Creating a unique conference logo representing both the host city and IFFO.
Solution: Designing a logo that is detailed and representative, yet legible in large and small, full colour, black-and-white and monochrome versions. Expanding the brand from the logo to media-in-use such as podium graphics, presentation screen backdrops, conference attendee intranet, name badges and social media posts.
Highlight: Finding images with the perfect visual balance to display information, sponsors' logos and presentations to look good on a physically massive on-stage screen. A record 530 delegates from 43 countries attended the Lisbon 2024 Conference to give an idea of scale of the venue.

Conference branding and graphical output is based on the Logo – the centrepiece if you will. Multiple logo formats are required for use in output media, from name badges to social media posts to the podium and screen presentation back drops. The primary objective is to create a strong visual identity for the Conference and ensure consistency across multiple channels and media.
Logo options designed include: full colour without date (standalone), full colour with date, black and white and monochrome inverted.

With the Conference running over 2 days and multiple sessions and tracks, all eyes are quite literally on the Podium – which, ironically should not draw attention away from the on-screen presentations behind the speakers. The Podium banner is designed specifically for printers to produce at the venue.

Backdrop graphics are quite a challenge as the screen is quite literally physically huge. Finding and testing the correct image resolution is critical to avoid pixellation once projected.

The Conference venue supplied us with the presentation screen technicalities – actual screen size and active content areas within which the presentations sit on a static backdrop.
Multiple backdrops are designed to work with- and without presentations embedded, with safe areas around participation barcodes and the all important sponsor logos to ensure visibility.
