Gurten | Christmas Campaign 2023

Problem: The Gurten is a well known day-visitor destination in Bern, Switzerland – the city's only 'mountain'. Visited more frequently during the lovely summer months for the great views and the outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hill walking, miniature train and outdoor picknicking, the Gurten wants to highlight that it is actually a year-round destination. With fantastic venues, the client has pre-Covid run successful marketing campaigns for corporate Christmas parties and events, and this year was no different. on-IDLE were asked to come up with an innovative Christmas party marketing concept, that puts the Gurten apart from competing venues.

Solution: on-IDLE fully understands the problem – having our web development team in another country, planning and organising the annual Christmas party can be a nightmare, thus we found our 'hook' for the campaign. Show all the problems an organiser and employee experience and then show them the solution: talk to Gurten and all your headaches with the Christmas party go away...

The selected video had to work for all aspect ratios on all social media platforms: 16:9, 1:1, 9:16 & 4:5. 
For Instagram Reels & TikTok a shorter 10 second version was produced to show the CTA faster than the longer format video.
