Aldersgate Group | Branding Refresh & Website Build

Problem: After 15 years of working with on-IDLE, the Aldersgate Group needed a brand, publication and website refresh and put the creative work out to competitive tender. And good news is that on-IDLE retained the Aldersgate Group as a customer.

Solution: Together with the in-house team at the Aldersgate Group we re-engineered the website architecture for optimum usability and accessibility that incorporates an archive of 500+ publications, ranging from press releases to reports to policy recommendations. Our scrums all had to take place virtually as we were still in the Covid pandemic lockdown and working from home. Ané's strategic and planning experience ensured that agile design and heavy WordPress customisation development could take place concurrently.

Highlight: Creating a Knowledge Hub with specification type and subject tagging ensures that navigation and location of content is from the point of view of the website visitor. New member enquiries have increased as has website traffic depth of content perused.

The existing brand identity got a refresh – becoming a bit more grown up and established. A special touch is the introduction of a Serif font for headlines and all distinctions. ((Auszeichnungen in german))

One of the new features (and Google Analytics proofes it) is the new Our work hub. An easy access for the user to find all information on one place. From the Reports, to AG Insights etc – the user no longer has to find the right section on the page and guess where that piece of information could be. The filtering only shows the relevant tagged information, without refreshing the site.v
