The big, bad city ain’t so tough

When I was looking for placements for the summer, never did I imagine I would spend 3 months in one of the world’s most busy, exciting and sometimes nightmarish city. A new place, new job, new house and a whole world of new anxieties. Will I be mugged, stabbed or worse? All my mind could do was think about every horror story it ever heard about London. But even with all my worrying thoughts, I somehow managed to put on a brave face and venture out into the big, bad city. A city which I quickly and surprisingly began to fall in love with. Making one of the most unconventional summer romances anyone could ever have.

Babies, space suits and typewriters. The one place were you can see a working model of a victorian workshop, in one room and then find the food astronauts eat in another. 5 floors of thought provoking, mind opening fun. It’s rare to find a place where both adults and children can come together, learn and have a good time.
