Air New Zealand is a long-term client of Fox Kalomaski with whom on-IDLE work on a number of interactive projects. In 2004 on-IDLE developed and implemented a new Air New Zealand Trade Site combining all former localised trade sites and databases.

With the new corporate brand development for Air New Zealand, the trade site needed an update to reflect this. Again, on-IDLE were commissioned at the beginning of March to implement the interface redesigned by Fox Kalomaski – and update the secure user access controlled content management to include a dynamic banner engine and updated image library. Work to modify the CMS for better usability continues. The revised site was launched successfully at the end of March 2006.

Satellite Marketing Communications commissioned on-IDLE to design and develop the first UK ASDA Images Library launched mid-January 2008.

Like many large corporations, ASDA now saves in-house time and resources by making available approved images to all suppliers and agencies from a centralised database. The current images database is free to access, but registration is approved by one of the lead ASDA agencies prior to access being granted.

Suppliers and agencies are not only able to search and browse available images, but are also able to upload new approved images to the database. on-IDLE worked with the ISP (Internet Service Provider) to facilitate the upload of large resolution image files both directly or via FTP.

A part of BMA Holdings for whom on-IDLE developed a full corporate identity, BMA Entertainment operate in 12 Cities and 10 Countries, with its own professional team and personnel, promoting classical culture globally through events, concerts, tours, shows and charity galas.

The BMA Entertainment website and identity was designed by on-IDLE, supported with a full CMS. The site has an innovative globe design, with rollovers producing rich media images and video.

An online Flash presenter outlining the facts on Transplantation Medicine for the Department of Health of the Swiss Conferderation.

For the first time in history, Switzerland has instituted comprehensive regulation on Transplantation Medicine with the introduction of the Transplantations Bill on the 1st of July 2007.

The Flash presenter was created as a quick introduction for visitors to the Swiss Home Office's public internet portal and covers topics ranging from the implications of the new legislation and issues involved in the transplantation, allocation, treatment of organ, skin and tissue transplantation.

The presentation is a featured item on the Swiss Government's Health Department Home Page.

The Double Barrel website contains information about recommended wines and prices and special offers that can be ordered but not purchased through the site.

All of the wines, descriptions and prices can be downloaded as PDFs. To enable these to be created dynamically, on-IDLE developed a system that can create and update PDFs directly from the content management system. This means that wine listings are always produced to the original design specifications and represent the professionalism and service that Double Barrel provide.

Marketing agency specialist for retail, travel and leisure brands, Fox Kalomaski commissioned on-IDLE to build and implement a Web 2.0 site built by on-IDLE to showcase client work as well as its own digital prowess.

The new site showcases the agency's work in an innovative showreel method, digital and agency video reels and a personalised introduction to the staff and services. The personal touch is increased with 3 blogs also streamed as RSS. 'Monday Morning Cynic' written each week by the joint Managing Directors, Stephen Fox and Gary Jacobs. 'The Insider' is a monthly comment on the wider business world from an industry expert, and 'Behind the Line' are the inspirations of the staff at Fox Kalomaski.

In keeping with the wider industry comment, the home page and news areas stream renowned industry magazines and news sites' RSS feeds.

Fox Kalomaski designed the base website templates from where on-IDLE implemented a full content management system.

Funky Bling is a start-up luxury jewellery and accessories importer in the UK, selling the latest fashionable Vabene watches and other accessories directly to UK consumers.

on-IDLE designed the logotype, email news template and website interface, supported by a full CMS (Content Management System). The shopping basket caters for new product ranges and is e-commerce enabled. As Funky Bling is a start-up with no bricks-and-mortar retail presence, the site is its main avenue for marketing and sales.

The website lists the full product catalogue of bling watches, fashion bangles and trendiest necklaces as worn by celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson and Agness Deyn amongst others.

Greenway and Lee Architects, based in Hampstead, London needed a website re-fresh and the ability to manage website content in-house in an often time pressured environment.

on-IDLE programmed the design supplied by Greenway and Lee as well as a full-featured content management system.

The portfolio section of the site is the most innovative, where print-size images are uploaded and dynamically converted into PDF files from the database. Greenway and Lee now print these portfolio sheets off from the website as the content is always the most current, and uses these for client presentations.

on-IDLE launched the first global INTO website in December 2006 as commissioned by Day 1, a UK-based integrated branding and communications agency.

In February this year, a reworked site structure and CMS was launched, allowing the 'duplication' of individual partner University microsites and in-house content management by access controlled and trained users. The colours and site structure can be indiviudually customised via the CMS. The updated CMS also caters for rich media video content and multi-lingual site versions.

INTO is a unique, university-based initiative for international students, offering new and higher quality standards of preparation for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the UK.

Launch of the new Music of Black Origin (MOBO) website blog and image gallery ahead of its 13th MOBO Awards ceremony, on Wednesday, 15 October 2008 at Wembley Stadium.

on-IDLE were appointed to replace the current website with a blog after a three way pitch earlier in the year.  Following the Awards this month, large-scale development will commence on the entire MOBO website to give it a new look and feel and make it more relevant and engaging to the target audience.

Tom le Bree, Editor-in-Chief MOBO Magazine 2007 says, “MOBO is one of Europe's premier music brands; however, the awards show is only once a year. We at MOBO recognize our fans to not just disappear after the show only to return the next year. As a way to communicate to these fans and others, MOBO is re-launching our website with aim of providing a platform for them to communicate with all year round. The site will host the latest music information including music and behind the scenes stuff from the show as well as information about our community work. The first stage of this development is the blog and gallery which has been designed by on-IDLE, who have done great work turning this site around very quickly"

Monika Piskorek is a documentary photographer getting to the root of hard hitting subjects such as ante-natal care in Haiti, education of blind children in Poland, a women's highly personal experience of breast cancer...

Initially in preparation for an exhibition in Paris, the website designed by on-IDLE, grew to a full portfolio site. Monika, currently documenting and researching in Haiti is able to add stories to her website from wherever she is via the full CMS (Content Management System).

With a new logotype and corporate identity design by Grade Design, the NYC needed a new website.

on-IDLE designed the site with a full CMS catering for each individual choir, the online store, news and recruitment. The site is the on-stop source of information on the NYC and where a choir will be appearing next.

Animated header banners give a sense of motion to the site and the Gallery showcases appearances. All Choirs recordings are listed as well as where to purchase these.

Newton Prep's new website design and full CMS was launched mid-2007. The site is an information hub for prospective pupils and current pupils and their parents.

The latest development was an image library showing all year's artworks with an innovative image pop-up showing each work in a larger size.

The weekly calendar CMS function was amended to allow the simple import of an Excel worksheet making updating and maintenance much simpler.

Currently a log-in protected area for Pupils and Parents is in development.

We’ve developed a new site using Ajax technology for an anti-grid and completely accessible interface, with the background driven by a live web cam.

Designed and commissioned by Figtree Network, on-IDLE programmed a combination HTML / Flash interactive tool that assists Orange brand managers with naming proposals.

The tool hosted on the secure Orange brand site, is in keeping with Orange's in-house style of providing an interactive and interesting workflow in what is otherwise a dull administrative function.

The tool is set within a 'naming' factory, with animated machines illustrating where the user is in the process of deciding which is the correct naming type e.g. hero, in association with, in partnership with, etc. and form to fill out. The forms can be saved to the user's desktop for later return, as a PDF or email to relevant brand manager within the relevant market.

The user journey, form data and actual text on the tool - as well as which animations and backgrounds to use are managed through a custom-built CMS.

Commissioned by Matter Gretener, an award-winning Zürich-based advertising agency, on-IDLE design and seed banner advertisements into the relevant media bookings systems.

The banners are invariably in complex fold-out formats in keeping with the image of a luxury Swiss watch brand and tailored to new collections and seasonal campaigns.

The Oris banners were the most often clicked advertising on the GQ website and are deemed very successful both in terms of targeting and campaign results.

An up-to-date look and feel designed by dVision Create, representing the vibrancy and activity of Oxford Street, London, was launched in July 2006. on-IDLE built the site and full CMS which is managed by the New West End Company in-house, including a zoom-able interactive store map.

In Christmas 2007 the homepage was taken over with a featured trailer video of Disney's Enchanted, which also sponsored the Oxford Street Christmas Lights.

The site regularly features what's on in Oxford Street, from book signings to events, and holds a wealth of information handy for the Oxford Street visitor, from parking to toilets to bus routes, taxi ranks and even emergency contact details.

Contact details and interests such as shopping, events, etc. are collected, ensuring subscribers' database build and retention.

Commissioned and designed by Erasmus, on-IDLE programmed the CSS interface design and built the supporting content management system (CMS) to manage the Home, News, Events and Features pages. Members of THE ORDER can log-in to gain exclusive content, the first of which is an innovative visualiser (developed by the Barbarian Group) for iTunes / Window Media Player animating to the beat of the music playing on your computer at the time.

The development was undertaken under extreme time pressure to facilitate a combined launch with the LONDON FREEZE wintersports and music festival in Battersea Park in October 2008, with on-IDLE puling out all the stops and comleting Phase I in 5 days, including a couple of late nights and weekend work.

Phase II of the Relentless portal will see the launch of a Blog, Athlete profiles, Magazine page and integration of video footage.

During a 60% buyout of the Saudi British Bank by HSBC, on-IDLE were commissioned to design a new interface for the retail bank and develop fully dynamic interactive tools such as a loan calculator, risk tolerance calculator, online forms and a branch locator in English and Arabic. on-IDLE also offered deep-level and on-demand support in installation and integration of interactive elements and the interface templates within highly complex and security sensitive systems.

An elite team of skilled professionals need a website to highlight their high service standards, services offered and contact detail.

The branding was developed by Michael Wolff from where on-IDLE designed and implemented the website. Each of the service branch pages (heating engineers, plumbers, electricians and general builders) as well as the services page have a cartoon, custom drawn by the renowned Charles Barsotti, adding much needed humour to what is normally a crisis situation for home owners.

The News and About Us sections are dynamic so that Service Corps can update these in-house, especially as the content of the About Us section are testimonials rather than the traditional corporate blurb.

This was a delightful project to work on - and it turns out that on-IDLE had a water leak that sprung just before a meeting with Service Corps - and they were happy to help and give advice and come back the same afternoon to fix the problem. Their website is right, they probably are the best plumbers, heating engineers, general builders and electricians in London.

For the first time Sto (sto.co.uk), renowned for facade and wall cladding, are now to selling high-end environmentally friendly paints direct to the public.

on-IDLE have designed and implement a fully dynamic e-commerce website with an intuitive interface design that enables Sto’s customers to purchase products confidently online. A clever Flash colour selector tool has been built that enables a customer to view all shades available per product range.

Strozzis is a gourmet restaurant group based in Zürich, Switzerland. Using only the freshest of ingredients and in-house recipes the group needed a website reflecting its ethos, as well as to facilitate bookings - in particular for daily lunch deliveries and catering.

Designed and commissioned by the award-winning Matter & Gretener advertising agency, on-IDLE deployed the site supported by a full CMS (Content Management System). Orders generated by the site are faxed through to the restaurants for maximum efficiency on receipt and delivery during the busy lunch hour.

The new site includes a scrolling gallery of high quality images showcasing the best dishes and features of the group, encourages news subscription in support of the database retention strategy and on-the-fly generated pdf downloads of the latest catering and restaurant menus.

Commissioned by Antenna Audio, on-IDLE designed and implemented a full Flash-driven interactive tour catering for 19 pieces – combining sound, video, closed-SMS, and games. Working with British Sign Language (BSL) a version for deaf and hard-of-hearing museum visitors was also implemented. The tour runs on a PDA interface only.

The Swiss Cultural Fund in Britain (SCFB) started operating as a springboard for the careers of talented Swiss artists in the UK. As a new initiative, the SCFB now also supports high-profile projects with established artists and offers direct involvement to potential supporters and benefactors. In order to achieve these goals the Fund liaises with companies and individuals with a qualified interest in Switzerland. At the same time it seeks supporters with whom it can establish privileged partnerships, working on specific projects and on bespoke events in cooperation with cultural institutions in Switzerland and the UK.

Providing the SFCB with a bespoke CMS gives them editorial control of their content and the website longevity. A colour wheel was developed for them within the CMS which literally provides millions of colour options for the pages that can be changed in real time. Coded in CSS, the website is fully optimised for current search engines and meets accessibility guidelines.
