Day 1, the renowned integrated branding an marketing agency, and custodians of INTO commissioned on-IDLE's digital production services. INTO is a unique, university-based initiative for international students, offering new and higher quality standards of preparation for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the UK.
The website project involves coding the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) of the pre-designed templates from where Day 1 populated the website. The supporting content management system (CMS) is currently in development.
The INTO project is now moving into Phase 2 which is the development of the INTO portal - localised content websites for each INTO centre in the UK, starting with the UEA Norwich, University of Exeter and Newcastle Universities.
For the first time Sto UK, renowned for facade and wall cladding, are now to selling high-end environmentally friendly paints direct to the public.
on-IDLE have designed and implement a fully dynamic e-commerce website with an intuitive interface design that enables Sto’s customers to purchase products confidently online. A clever Flash colour selector tool has been built that enables a customer to view all shades available per product range.
The UK market is ready to adopt a systems approach to paint, more in-line with European, and the e-commerce website launch reflects this. The specifications of Sto’s products really are quite amazing. Based on the designs of nature, the product line includes odour neutralising and self-cleaning paints, and the website interface design allows the products to speak for themselves with a minimalist and on-brand approach.
Xplore.tv is a real first – a chance for students to communicate with each other – through tv on the web developed specifically for them. Members are encouraged to explore ideas, views, share jokes and stories, and make contact through the medium of TV with a potential student audience totalling 5.3 million across the UK alone.
on-IDLE have built a social media network that enables sharing of pictures, audio and video and communication between members and the public. Each item is tagged so that users can search for content by ‘zones’ such as fashion, music, health, money or by related items of interest. Video is the focus of the site and on-IDLE have developed software that converts video in any format to Flash on the fly, whether taken on mobile phone, web cam, digital camera, even HD. The site also provides a smart space for advertisers to reach a huge potential audience.

Over the past couple of months, environmental issues have risen to the top of the news agenda, and this includes the advertising and communication industries.
Working closely with Satellite Marketing Communications on-IDLE implemented and will maintain the website until the inaugural Green Awards in November 2006. Entries are open to businesses and organisations who develop and deliver marketing communications across all channels of communication.
The Green Awards have been created to recognise excellent creative work that illustrates and communicates the importance of CSR,
sustainable development, and ethical best practice. And they will be awarded to brands or organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to these issues in a creative and effective way across different media platforms and marketing disciplines.
